PROFESSOR YVES BOQUET
University of Bourgogne (Burgundy),
Dijon, France
Yves Boquet is Distinguished Visiting Professor with the Department of Geography and Geosciences at the University of Louisville in Spring 2004. Currently Professor Boquet holds a position of Vice-Chair of the Geography Department at the University of Bourgogne in Dijon.
Yves Boquet published numerous articles on various research topics including transportation systems (US airline deregulation, European high-speed rail), US population issues (Asian migration to the USA, decline of population in the Great Plains), as well as comparative studies of large metropolises in the world.
Professor Boquet is team-teaching with Dr. Bill Dakan a course
on "World Class Cities" this semester.
