KWLA member becomes Fulbright Teacher
KWLA member and Spanish teacher, Anne Smieszny (Villa Madonna Academy), was chosen to participate in the Fulbright Teacher Exchange Program in Bogota, Colombia during the 2005/2006 school year. CONGRATULATIONS!
Anne's students will learn from Luisa Ortiz, a teacher from the school in Bogota. Smieszny has a bachelor's degree in Spanish and Linguistics from Ohio State University, and has recently completed a master's degree in teaching from Northern Kentucky University.
