Language Teacher Wins Technology Award
Congratulations to Robert Crawford, Spanish teacher at Meyzeek Middle School in Louisville for winning the 2005 Best Buy te@ach Award. The Best Buy te@ch program recognizes schools and teachers who make learning fun by integrating interactive technology into the curriculum. Thousands of schools across the country applied, making the selection process highly competitive. The best of those applications were selected to receive Best Buy te@ch awards. Robert presented his project at the 2005 KWLA Fall Conference in a session titled: "Lights, Camera, Action: Creating a Sitcom in the Target Language." In February, te@ch award-winning schools will receive a package from Best Buy containing a Best Buy te@ch Gift Card for $2,500.
