Louisville Teacher to Appear on KET

Diane Mackenzie, the Atherton High School Spanish teacher who received the prestigious $25,000 Milken Family Foundation Educator Award, chats with Bill Goodman on the next One to One, airing Friday, Feb. 3 at 10/9 PM CT on KET2 and Sunday, Feb. 5 at 2/1 PM CT on KET1.

Diane, a KWLA member, has been a teacher for 16 years and is chair of Atherton's world language department. She was a Fulbright Scholarship recipient in 1988, has received the Superintendent's Distinguished Service Award and is a mentor and supervisor for new teachers. She earned bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Louisville and holds a teaching certificate from Universidad Rafael Landivar in Guatemala.
