Kentucky Students Receive Full Scholarships

celebration.gifSix Kentucky High School students receive full scholarship to study for a year in Germany. The Council on International Educational Exchange recently awarded 50 prestigious Congress Bundestag Youth Exchange (CBYX) Scholarships to students from the Southeast United States for the 2006-2007 school year. This year, six Kentucky high school students – three from Lafayette High School in Lexington, one each from Ryle High School in Union and P.L. Dunbar High School in Lexington, and one from Kolbe Academy - will be a part of this select group of students who will spend a year of discovery and learning in Germany on a full academic scholarship, setting themselves apart from their peers. Call for Presentations

You are invited to submit a proposal for the 2006 Fall Conference of the Kentucky World Language Association. With over 400 world language specialists in attendance, this conference offers presenters a wonderful opportunity to share their ideas with educators from around the state.
