Fall Conference Opens Thursday!

The 2006 KWLA Fall Conference is scheduled to open Thursday, October 19 with two exciting new mystery workshops. On-site registration is still available and will be open during the following times:
Thursday, October 19: 05:30 PM - 08:00 PM Friday, October 20: 08:00 AM - 07:00 PM Saturday, October 21: 07:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Fall Conference Deadline SOON!

The Pre-Registration deadline for the 2006 KWLA Fall Conference is fast approaching. Pre-registration closes Friday, October 6. If you have not registered by that time, plan to register onsite. If you are mailing registrations, do not mail anything after October 6. (Registrations must be postmarked by this date.) Registrations postmarked after October 6 will not be processed, and you will need to register on-site.
Spanish and French PASSPORTS are sold out! Congratulations if you were able to register for one of the conference passports. WORKSHOP space limited! Online registration is recommended to guarantee your workshop space. IMMERSION DINNERS are full! Once again the immersion dinners have proven to be extremely popular and are now full. (There are a few space available for the German and Latin immersion dinner.) If you didn't get a chance to reserve your space, you will have plenty of dinning choices in downtown Louisville. Be sure to look for your copy of the downtown Louisville guide inside the conference packet.
With almost 50 sessions, 10 workshops and over a dozen meetings this will be the biggest KWLA conference yet, so don't delay and Register Today!

Early-Bird Registration Deadline!

Wednesday, September 6th is the Early-Bird Registration Deadline for the 2006 KWLA Fall Conference. For the greatest savings on conference registration, be sure to register by midnight on Wednesday! Spanish Immersion Dinner Passports are sold out! There are a few spots available on the "a la carte" registration options! Couldn't get in this year? Why not try the new "Spanish Mystery Immersion" on Thursday evening?

Immerse yourself ... in a mystery! Join us for an evening of suspense as you become both sleuth and suspect in an immersion mystery. Relying on your wit and language skills, your goal is to be the first to unravel the truth and uncover "who dunnit". Prizes will be awarded. Once the mystery is solved, each participant will receive a guide and instructions for hosting the same mystery immersion experience for students. Workshop registration includes deli bar and one glass of wine. Available in French and Spanish.

2006 Fall Conference Registration Opens

Online and Mail Registrations for the 2006 KWLA Fall Conference are now open. Early-Bird Registrations will be accepted until September 6th. We encourage you to take advantage of our fast and secure online registration system. Avoid the lines at the conference and pre-register today!!!
Of course the most exciting registration option is the "Conference Passport". You pay one price and receive not only access to all sessions, meetings, and the exhibit hall, but the choice of either the Mystery Immersion or Dinner Immersion, the choice of either the TPRS workshop or two other workshops, as well as a ticket to the awards luncheon on Saturday. You won't have to worry about tickets or food during the conference, because your special "Conference Passport" name badge will get you in and out of all conference events. "Conference Passports" start at $99. (Save up to $35 versus "a la carte" registration!)

Call for Presentations

You are invited to submit a proposal for the 2006 Fall Conference of the Kentucky World Language Association. With over 400 world language specialists in attendance, this conference offers presenters a wonderful opportunity to share their ideas with educators from around the state.
