Looking for you!

1. Do you have ideas that could improve or enhance KWLA and its activities (conference, advocacy, festival etc.)?
2. Have you been been looking for a leadership position within KWLA?
3. Ever wondered what is really going on at one of those "board meetings"?
4. Want to be part of the process of improving world language education in Kentucky?

If you answered "YES" to at least one of the questions above, then you are invited to attend the third Annual KWLA Winter Board Meeting and Retreat at Villa Madonna Academy in Villa Hills, KY, January 26-27, 2007. In order for KWLA to be responsive to the needs of its members, we are looking to once again invite a variety of K-16 world language teachers representing the diverse areas of the state of Kentucky.

The actual retreat begins at 8am on Saturday, January 27 and runs until approximately 4 PM. If you would be traveling a great distance and would like to arrive on Friday evening for our Board Meeting, KWLA will be happy to provide lodging for you at the Villa Madonna Academy.

We hope that you will be able to join us and ask that you complete the a brief online application form by Friday, January 19th.
