The 2007 KWLA Fall Conference promises to be another outstanding professional development experience. We invite you to join us in Louisville to hear the success stories, discover the challenges, and find solutions for teaching world languages in today's classroom. The broad variety of sessions should provide topics of interest every hour! You'll leave the conference energized with new ideas you can use in the classroom, new connections that will provide you support throughout the year, and excitement as we begin to share our vision to Discover Languages: Empower Kentucky!
You are invited to submit a proposal for the 2007 Fall Conference of the Kentucky World Language Association. With almost 500 world language educators in attendance, this conference offers presenters a wonderful opportunity to share their ideas with educators from around the state. Please complete the proposal form and submit it by April 15, 2007. Thank you for your willingness to share you expertise with others!
Please note the new date for the 2007 Conference: October 11-13. While this is a month later than our usual conferences, we hope this will allow you more time at the always busy beginning of the school year to make arrangements for attending the conference (substitute, payment, hotel reservation, etc.) The later date will also allow us to extend the early-bird registration until August 31, giving you more time to save money!
Be sure to check back this page frequently, as the KWLA conference committee will release additional information such as workshop information, featured speakers, entertainment options, and more.
