KWLA is proud to announce this year's keynote speaker: Bill VanPatten, a Professor of Spanish and Second Language Studies at Michigan State University where he also directs the Romance language programs. Prof. VanPatten is an award winning teacher-scholar, whose work on both input processing and processing instruction have received attention around the world. He is the author of six books, seven edited volumes and close to 100 book chapters and journal articles. Prof. VanPatten is perhaps best known among language teachers for Making Communicative Language Teaching Happen (co-authored with James F. Lee) and for From Input to Output: A Teacher's Guide to Second Language Acquisition, as well as for his top-selling textbooks. Learn more »»
