2009 Fall Conference: Proposal Form

September 17 - 19, Lexington Downtown Hotel (A Hilton Affiliate)

The KWLA Conference Committee invites all members and prospective members to submit a proposal for the 2009 conference. Proposals for sessions of thirty or fifty-minute sessions three-hour workshops will be accepted through March 31, 2009. Preference will be given to proposals in the following categories: assessment, best practices, community/advocacy, literacy, literature/research, technology, and units of study.

New for 2009: View the proposal evaluation rubric that will be used by the conference committee and representatives from the language-specific organizations to select proposals. Decisions by the committee are final.

Presenters of accepted proposals will be notified by May 30, 2009.
